There will be a supper at 5:15 p.m. in the CAC, then choirs & Missions (ends 7:15 p.m.) .
Our Children's Choirs meet on Wednesday nights starting at 5:45pm. (no choir until school starts)
Our Adult choir practices Wednesday nights at 7:30pm.
MUSIC NOTES
Wow, what a great evening Wednesday, May 19, when we featured all our missions groups and our children’s choirs in concert! Thank you to all who were present and to all who shared their learning as well as their support. Thank you to Gloria Byers and the Wednesday children’s meal helpers and to the Pastor and Steve Reynolds for setting up the tables and chairs in the CAC. I feel this was such a successful event, that with the agreement of those in leadership and the church council, we will plan to do it again next spring.
Join with me as you have opportunity to express your appreciation for those who have been teaching our children to use music as a tool of expression to others and to the Lord about their relationship with Him. Led by Children’s Choir Coordinator Laura Plunk, they are: Dee Whisenant and Deanie Ferrell, Young Musicians (grades 4-6); Sandra Hendrix and Betty Willis, Music Makers (grades 1-3); Donna Allred and Tamara Hillmer, Cherubs (Preschool 4 and 5); and Sharon Williams, Rita McAlexander, and Cindy Finch, Music Train (3 year olds). Thank you for a great year 2009-2010, and we look forward to August when we start a new choir year!
